The pillow itself is not machine washable because it does not hold smells or bacteria. It is hypoallergenic memory foam. If you order a pillowcase, the pillowcases are fully machine washable and dryer safe. Also, if you order a pillowcase, it will ship on the pillow already

How does the dual height system work?

Looks like a very strange shaped pillow, but has definitely helped me sleep better. Im usually a side/stomach sleeper but have been forced to sleep on my back because of neck issues. The Viora pillow allows me to sleep comfortably in all positions now & I really love the temperature control pillow case! Wish I would have picked up an extra pillow case.
